Leon Outlaw Jr.
Leon Outlaw Jr., the son of a drummer and singer, was born on March 12,2002. He was born in Brookyln, New York.
At the age 5, Leon started to show interest in singing and dancing. Leon begin to perform in his living room, at family events, church, school, and anywhere that he could call a stage. Leon was inspire by singers such as Michael Jackson, James Brown, and Sammy Davis Jr.
As musical parents, Leon's mother and father supported him.
Leon's mother had a friend from her church that told her about the casting of a young Michael Jackson for Motown The Musical.
Motown The Musical is about a true story that tells how the founder of Motown, Barry Gordy, launched the careers of Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Smokey Robinson, and many others. Motown The Musical started off as a one man's story, yet it turned into a Broadway's musical. It feature more than 40 classic hits such as "My Girl" and "Ain't No Mountain High Enough".
At the age of 9, Leon made his real stage debut. In the Broadway production, Motown The Musical, Leon portrayed a young Michael Jackson, a young Barry Gordy Jr., and a young Stevie Wonder. Leon was very excited about playing his idol, Michael Jackson, and two legends. For two and a half years, Leon portrayed these three roles on Motown The Musical tour from as far north as Toronto, ON, to as far west as Hollywood, CA.
On December 9,2016, Leon was a guest star on CBS' hit series, Blue Bloods.
Blue Bloods is a drama television show about a multi-generational family of cops dedicated to New York City law enforcement.
On Blue Bloods season 7 episode 10 "Unbearable Loss", Leon appeared on the show as Michael Potter, the son of Reverend Darnell Potter, who was murder. So now Frank, the New York commissoner, and Reverend Darnell Potter must put aside their differences and work together to seek justice.
In 2017, Leon became one of the five members of the R&B boy group, Next Town Down.
