Leon Outlaw Jr., Malik Knighten, Chris Louis, Tre'von Waters, and Terence Thomas are five talented and handsome young men. Each of them has many different skills, but two skills that they all share is singing and dancing.
One day these gifted young men decided to come together and created the band Next Town Down.


 When Next Town Down came up with their name they wanted the word "next" in it, so the first band name they thought of was the Boys Next Door. However the name Boy Next Door is already taken, and we all know that Next Town Down is nothing like the Boys Next Door. Obviously, Next Town Down is nothing like the Boys Next Door because Next Town Down party harder, look better, dress better, sing better, smell better, taste better, talk better, and cook food better. 

The group chosen the name Next Town Down since they was not the Boys Next Door, yet they was the more cooler and dope boys from the next town over.

On December 15, 2016, Next Town Down started a YouTube channel. Next Town Down post all type of different videos such as challenges, vlogs, original songs, covers, evolutions, and #YouCantSingThat cover videos. #YouCantSingThat cover videos are songs that the five guys aren't supposed to sing, but they do sing the songs. As of now Next Town Down had 312,094 subscribers on YouTube.

Next Town Down is basically an upcoming boy band that will soon become very famous and popular. Eventually, they will be going on world tours in the US (I hope South Carolina will be one of those states) and outside of the US. I truly believe the boy group, Next Town Down, had the potential to succeed.

Terence Thomas

Terence Thomas was born on January 27,1996. He was born and raised in Hollandale,MS. Ever since Terence was a little kid, he knew he wanted to do something that involves music. His mother was a preacher so he was raise up in church. During that time, Terence singed on the church chorus, and he played the piano at church. After Terence graduated high school, he attended Jackson State University. While Terence was in college, he competed in a talent competition that was similar to Showtime at the Apollo. He was a freshman when he competed in the competition. Tre'von Waters

Tre'von Waters was born on July 14,1996. He was born in Kilmarnock, VA, but he was raised in Lancaster, VA. Tre'von discovered his talent while he was living in Lancaster, VA. Tre'von started singing when he was two years old. His mother, Tracey Waters, was his manager. According to his mother, Tre'von was an enthused child who was just having fun. Later on his mother discover that singing was more than just a hobby to Tre'von when he says, "I want to sing for a living". At that moment, Tracey Waters realized singing was Tre'von passion and gift. Tre'von Waters was inspired by musical artists such as Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, Boys II Men, Usher Raymond, and Chris Brown.
