Terence Thomas
Terence Thomas was born on January 27,1996. He was born and raised in Hollandale,MS.
Ever since Terence was a little kid, he knew he wanted to do something that involves music.
His mother was a preacher so he was raise up in church. During that time, Terence singed on the church chorus, and he played the piano at church.
After Terence graduated high school, he attended Jackson State University. While Terence was in college, he competed in a talent competition that was similar to Showtime at the Apollo. He was a freshman when he competed in the competition. Not only did he won the talent competition, this was his first time singing in front of a really large crowd.
When Terence became a senior at Jackson State University, he was preparing for an upcoming tour and he was working on recording an album. Not only was he working on his music, he was taking online classes so he could receive his criminal justice degree in the fall.
During college, he became apart of a gospel group that was started by his peers. A road manager for Grammy nominated gospel artist, James Fortune, discovered Terence's talent on social media from a video that was posted on Instagram. He gotten in touch with Terence and this led to Terence touring with James Fortune throughout December 2015 to August 2016. While Terence was on tour with James Fortune, he met two other gifted young men, Chris Louis and Tre'von Waters. They all became fans of each other vocal abilities. The three guys got to talking and came up with the idea to put together a band. They all agree that the band should be five guys. When Malik Knighten and Leon Outlaw Jr. joined, the five guys contacted a manager
It is shown that Terence truly love to sing when he say, "Having people come up to me and tell me that my voice was inspirational or that my singing really touched them was a big deal for me. Jackson State gave me that opportunity to get over my fear of singing and has pushed me to go out and pursue my career in music."
